Our traditional vacation apartment Capitorio offers you a great place to relax and leave the stress of everyday life behind. Upon arrival you will be greeted by the scent of lavender, thyme, oregano, sage and rosemary. The private terrace faces west and reveals an enchanting view over the wide Albegna valley.
Our stone house is furnished in a typical regional style: warm chestnut wood, cool terracotta tiles and Mediterranean colors exude Italian charm. Spread over 50 square meters is a bedroom with a double bed and a fold-out sofa for an extra person, a shower room with hairdryer, and the cozy living area with a fireplace and an additional double sofa bed for two. The centerpiece is a real 'cucina in muratura' with traditional stone sink and all the utensils to prepare delicious local dishes. Two grocery stores with fresh local products and a butcher with Tuscan specialties can be reached in Roccalbegna, six kilometers away.
The Mediterranean garden is guaranteed to become your favorite spot. Enjoy the tranquility of nature and let yourself be seduced every evening by the play of colours of the most beautiful sunsets.
Wifi, bed linen, towels, a small safe, central heating and all utilities for gas & electricity are included in the rental price. A washing machine can be used for a small fee. For our little guests we have a cot and a high chair ready.

I grew up in the North West of England. After studying in Scotland, I left the UK to live and work in many different countries. After spending a lot of time in the most beautiful metropolises in the world (including Hamburg), I now appreciate living in close contact with nature even more.
I have been enjoying life here at Podere Sant'Angelo for more than ten years now. It gives me great pleasure to share my experiences here in the Maremma with my guests. I'm happy to advise on where to visit and where you can eat well.
The unique view from Podere Sant'Angelo makes this a really special place. On a clear day the view sweeps down to the sea as far as Porto Santo Stefano. On the other side, Monte Labro stretches up into the sky. Wonderful sunsets await you right outside the door of your holiday home, until the black night sky reveals a view of the Milky Way.
